Autistic children engaging in recreational activities is in quality and quantity far below the child's standard.The lack of leisure skills seriously affect the quality of life of autistic children,so leisure skills learning is particularly important.Among the many methods of leisure skills interventions for autistic children,the visual cue strategy is to use visual media such as photos,pictures,text,line drawing,logo,schedules,calendars,work plans and so on.Of the acceptance,so that student knows what to do,what to do next.This strategy correspond with the advantages of autistic child's visual learning,and also reduce the anxiety of autistic children.The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of visual cue strategies on leisure skills of school-age autistic children.The study method used multiple probe across-subjects design in a single's subjects research.Three school-age autistic children were used as the research object,and the quantitative analysis of the observed data was made by visual analysis.Through the "Outline of Teaching Interview" Collect and collate the opinions and opinions of teachers and parents on the research and study to establish the social validity of the study.The results are as follows:1.based on the visual cue teaching to improve the school-age autistic child's leisure skills(puzzles,mushrooms nails,snowflake bricks)has a good immediate effect.2.based on the visual cue teaching to improve the school-age autistic child's leisure skills(puzzles,mushrooms nails,snowflake bricks)has a good maintenance effect.3.based on the visual cue teaching to improve the school-age autistic child's leisure skills(puzzles,mushrooms nails,snowflake bricks)has a good social validity.4.the implementation of visual cue strategy,autistic children less active participation in the puzzle,mushroom nails and snowflakes bricks.In addition,the researcher has analyzed and discussed the influencing factors of the visual cue strategy and the corresponding adjustment measures,and put forward some suggestions on the teaching and research.
