An Research Of Group Work Intervening In Children’s Bad Behavior In The Mode Of Inter-generational Upbringing

With the rapid pace of urbanization in our country,the rapid development of economy,politics and culture has made a significant improvement in social life.At the same time,all aspects of society have undergone enormous changes,of which the transformation of the family structure is a significant feature.Under the circumstances of social aging trend,not only rural households have emerged more and more children,as for many young people who from the core families occupies the dominant urban families,having a heavy burden of stress.For many reasons,their children are sent to grandparents whose physical condition is good and the mental state is full.The situation of grandparents raising kids is more and more popular,and the number of children is increasing.Under the condition of the inter-generational upbringing,lacking of parental love and companions makes them unsatisfied with the present emotional situation,and the change of living environment makes it difficult for them to adapt to the present situation of subsistence.And the inattentive care,the indulgent attitude,wrong ways and backword ideas of upbringing are all make the group behave worse directly.Based on this,this paper attempts to introduce the theories and methods of group work in social work to analyze the bad behavior of children in the mode of inter-generational upbringing,including the systematic definition of related concepts,the classification of childrens’ bad behavior in the mode of inter-generational upbringing and the dicussion about the reasons.A case study of W community in Hefei city,bying the ways of observing and researching and bibliographic searching,the author explores the bad behavior of children.Based on the knowledge and theories the author has learnd,the author makes a classification of the bad behavior from the children in the mode of inter-generational upbringing,and explores the causes,and refines the two aspects of the ranges of the inter-generational upbringing and childrens’ bad behavior.During the author’s practice,through long-term observation of contact and interviews,the author sorts out the relevant information.And take group work intervening in childrens’ bad behavior in the mode of inter-generational upbringing as an example,make evaluation,display and summary about the implementation of the group work project.Then does an analysis about the effects of group work intervening the children’s bad behavior in the mode of inter-generational upbringing,through several aspects of the degree of inter-generational upbringing improvement,the improvement of the bad behavior,the achievement of the expected goal of the team members and the feedback form of the group members.The results show that the way of grandparenting has a crucial influence on their behavior during the growth of the children.Therefore,at the end of this paper,through a series of group activities,the author tries to find and summarize the problems and shortcomings of the study of the group work intervening in children’s bad behavior in the mode of inter-generational upbringing,and explores the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions.
