Since May 2011 the McKinsey Global Institute published a report entitled "big data: the next frontier of innovation,competition and productivity",the concept of "big data" shook the entire academic circle and sparked a lively discussion.The arrival of the era of big data to accelerate the innovation and development of all walks of life,changing the global political,economic,cultural,social and many other fields.For the media industry,"sports media" is one of the most important content.Big data has become one of the important factors affecting the development of sports media industry.But at present,the research in our country is still superficial.So,now we have already entered the era of big data,in the era of change to the traditional media industry constantly advancing with The Times,more especially as a subdivision of the sports media industry.For big data era perspective,research on the development of the sports media industry can make a big data the sports media industry tools,better promote the advance of sports media industry,has a strong practical significance.Therefore,this paper will conduct a content on the current sports media development status quo,reform in big data for sports media and the media industry,and according to the local situation in our country to put forward some ideas and prospects the future development of the field.This article mainly take the research methods include literature research,case analysis and inductive deductive method.To express modern sports is the main point of the media should be stood on the tide of the era of,keep up with the changes of The Times,the effective use of the advantages of big data technology to improve the ability of screening,shaping,edit the information,make big data technology truly for the sports media service,for the efficient development of the new era of sports media and broad support in the future.Paper innovation points are compared with foreign mature sports media industry,the sports media industry in China is in a high-speed development period,as well as advanced developed countries to learn the way of the operation of the sports media industry,and can't be too dependent on foreign mode,because of the sports media industry in China have their own characteristics,in such a situation,the era of big data can only more to in-depth research is suitable for the situation of China sports media industry development way,big data is a critical tool is leading the top priority of this phenomenon,is also this article to delve into the problem.
