Research On The Optimization Of Internal Governance Structure Of Private Colleges And Universities

The internal governance structure in private colleges is essentially a set of mechanism and organizational structure which under the background of current education reform and development with different internal interest subjects in private colleges follow the internal law of development and adapt to the external development environment to reach the rational distribution of power and balance,that is to say,the optimization of the governance structure is a dynamic development process which constantly adjust as the change of social background and requirements.As far as the power’s current running situation of the internal governance structure in private colleges come to see,there are still quite part of problems in private colleges now.For example,the existence of family management and single governing subject makes the management lack of vitality and innovation,resulting in slow development of the school;The lack of power allocation and balance mechanism leads to confusion of power and power generalization;The main body of supervision can not exercise the right of supervision,so that the main rights and interests can not be guaranteed;The conflict of interest between the main bodies of the school emerges one after another,witch all influence the balance of power and the realization of the interests between stakeholders.In November 2016,with the new revision of the "Private Education Promotion Law" promulgated,the private higher education in our country began to enter into a new development.Private colleges began the for-profit or nonprofit classification management、Government streamline administration and institute decentralization to support the independent running and managing of private colleges、Encourage private colleges to create characteristic education actively、Emphasis on morality education as school-running guidelines in private colleges.Therefore,facing the new situation,the new background of the development of private higher education,the renewal of power sequence and the optimization of checks and balances mechanism and coordination mechanism about internal governance structure of power between stakeholders in private colleges appears more necessary.So,how to optimize the internal governance structure of private colleges and universities? We know that,as a typical stakeholder organization,the main stakeholders and the interaction in private colleges and universities have a great influence on the optimization of the internal governance structure,therefore,this study is based on the connotation of the internal governance structure of private colleges and universities and with the aid of stakeholder theory,taking C College as an example,through the analysis of the interaction between stakeholders and the relationship between power allocation and checks and balances to explore the path of the optimization of the internal governance structure in private colleges and Universities.This study combines theoretical research and case analysis,mainly divided into six parts:The first part explains the research background and significance,the related concepts,research status,research ideas and methods.The second part introduces the theoretical basis of this study--stakeholder theory,and on this basis to have a system analysis on the internal governance structure of private colleges and universities,including stakeholder classification,interaction,interests,power allocation and priority relations etc..In the third part,taking C College as an example and to summarize the present situation of the internal governance structure and analyze the interaction between the stakeholders and stakeholders and on the basis of the actual case,summarizes the main problems in the internal governance structure of C CollegeThe fourth part,through the analysis of the present situation and the main problems of the internal governance structure of C College to put forward the deliberate of the optimization of the internal governance structure in C College.The fifth part,based on the thinking of optimization of the internal governance structure of C College,this chapter sums up the path of the optimization of the internal governance structure of the private colleges and outlines the blueprint of structural optimization.
