The incentive theory,which has a history of over 100 years,has been regarded as one of the most important theories in the field of psychology.It not only has rich content but also can be operated easily.With the ultimate purpose of improving teaching effect and quality,promoting innovation and healthy development of Wushu teaching and providing further references for education reform,the author combines this theory with the teaching of Wushu courses and consequently and consequently explores the validity of incentive theory and the mechanism of effect on the teaching of Wushu.This paper has adopted different research methods,such as referring to literature,interviewing,investigating experts,investigating questionnaire,conducting experiments,observing as well as analyzing mathematical statistics.The author selects 36 students of sport majors from two normal classes to conduct an experiment.No interruption or influencing factor has been conducted in the comparative while the experimental class has been applied the incentive theory apart from the traditional teaching mode of Wushu.During the teaching process,the author was writing the observation notes though observe the teaching of the experimental class.After the experiment,the author examined students' Wushu techniques and theories,investigated students' learning motivation,attitude,interest and students' evaluation of teaching effectiveness and conducted an interview of the students of experimental class.According to the outcome of the experiment,observation and interview: teachers can not only complete compulsory teaching tasks but also help students master Wushu techniques better if they can combine the incentive theory properly with traditional teaching mode.Meanwhile,it can help students build up learning motivation,cultivate learning interest and correcting learning attitude.Apart from that,it can also help students improve their comprehensive abilities and make them get a good psychological experience.Promoting the improvement of teaching effectiveness.
