On the basis of many years' teaching reform experience of wushu's general study in our country's higher P.E. normal schools and combined with the actual teaching conditions of wushu's general studying in many domestic higher normal schools and the requirement of reform, the idea of "technical course's teaching content optimization of the P.E. major's general studying of wushu in higher normal schools" has been put forward as a new thinking and a new idea of wushu's teaching reform. Its central meaning is, according to the teaching aims and tasks' requirements of wushu's general studying in higher normal schools' P.E. department and keeping the students' actual needs in mind, it will readjust reasonably the original technical course's content structure of wushu, stress the essential characters of the subject-wushu, reflect thoroughly the value and functions that wushu possesses and make the teaching content more scientific, more structuralized and have more actual effects. It should guarantee the teaching content's system and comprehensiveness and at the same time stress the major teaching content, which will bring both the quantitative and qualitative changes and improve the teaching content's quality of wushu to the greatest extent.By using the methods of documental material, expert interviewing, survey by questionnaire and logical research ,and with the theory of education, inner psychology, modern education and centrepiece teaching as its theoretical research basis this passage puts great emphasis on the teaching content's optimization's actual teaching significance of the P.E. major's general studying in higher normal schools and the principles of comprehensiveness, actual effects, fitness, differences, society and culture. It sets forth several theoretical optimization methods and analysed the possibility of the teaching content's optimization of wushu's general studying in higher normal school's actual teaching process. The theory above not only make a preliminary exploration of the teaching reform of the P.E. major's wushu's general studying in higher normal school, but also offer a reference to the technical course's teaching reform in other higher normal schools.
