Middle school students are in an important period of growth,they are not mature in psychological,emotional,moral and other aspects,they want to understand the world,to meet the inner needs,this time we use what to improve their humanistic quality,meet their inner needs is particularly important.In many literary genres,poetry is attached great importance because of its concise language and rich connotation.As the inheritance of ancient poetry,new poetry has a natural advantage in the cultivation of students' humanistic quality.The modern consciousness,emotion and aesthetic characteristics show not only the enjoyment of art,but also exert great influence on the students' mind,emotion and behavior.Therefore,we use the literature genre of new poetry to guide students' ideological morality,aesthetic taste and personality development,and promote their own development,so that they have a modern human qualities,which is the pursuit of new poetry teaching objectives and value direction.In view of the current situation of new poetry teaching and the problems faced in cultivating students' humanistic quality,this paper,based on the teaching theory and practice experience of experts and scholars,explores the methods and ways of cultivating middle school students' humanistic quality in the practical teaching process from the modern education theory.Specifically,the paper is divided into five parts: the first part is the introduction,mainly on the background,significance,the methods used and research status.The first chapter discusses the concept of humanistic quality,then discusses the humanistic quality and cultural connotation in the new poetry from four aspects: strong sense of responsibility,correct value concept,healthy aesthetic appeal,rich imagination and perfect thinking.Based on the characteristics of new poetry and the current teaching needs,the second chapter puts forward specific measures to cultivate the humanistic quality of middle school students from two aspects of classroom teaching and extracurricular activities.In the classroom teaching,mainly through the reflection of human beings,repeated reading,taste the artistic conception and other ways to cultivate the humanistic quality of middle school students;In the extracurricular activities,through encouraging writing,holding poetry and calligraphy works exhibition to create a good humanistic atmosphere for students.The third chapter puts forward some suggestions on the cultivation of students' humanistic quality.The last part is the conclusion part,briefly summarizes the advantages of cultivating students' humanistic quality in the new poetry,and points out that the cultivation of humanistic quality is not achieved overnight,and needs joint efforts of teachers and schools.
