| With the rapid development of modern teaching technology,as a new teaching model,flipped classroom has set off a new wave in the field of global education.In order to meet the needs of educational informationization and the teaching reform,China began to carry out the practice of flipped classroom.Through researching the theoretical basis,practical conditions of the flipped classroom and the comparative study of the flipped classroom in the universities between China and the United States,we can come to a conclusion to provide a reference for the practice of the flipped classroom in China.Flipped classroom reflects the people-oriented philosophy,and also embodies the theory of mastery learning and zone of proximal development theory.From the research of the flipped classroom,we can see that the flipped classroom is characterized by the student-centered teaching.And flipped classroom has rich teaching resources,fair teaching evaluation and free teaching environment.In order to ensure the effective of flipping the classroom,universities not only need have a high level of team of the teachers and active students who are good at learning,but also need to ensure that they have sufficient teaching resources with high quality and perfect technical support platform and the consensus and support from all sectors of society.By using the method of comparative analysis,the author selects two courses to analyze as a case study.Which are the outline of modern Chinese history of one Chinese university and the “Visualizing Japan” of Massachusetts Institute of Technology.Through researching a comparative study on educational philosophy,teaching outline,team of the teachers,teaching process,teaching resources and assessment methods and other aspects of the details,it finds that there are some problems in Chinese universities.The reasons why cause these problems include the situation of respecting for teachers deeply and inculcation education,the lack of high-quality cooperation teachers team with good curriculum design and overall planning ability and passive students in test-oriented education.At the same time,the practice of flipped classroom in China lack of the support of government and enterprises.In order to carry out the classroom practice better,Chinese universities should do the following suggests.First of all,universities should pay attention to the main role of people,which includes teachers and students.And they should pay more attention to the construction of high quality teachers team and incentive policies.Secondly,Chinese universities have to break the shackles of traditional curriculum because of the problems of educational philosophy and curriculum setting.So they have to break the traditional teaching concept and system.And they should reduce the curriculum or courses and deepen the depth and expand the breadth of teaching resources to improve the teaching efficiency.Finally,Chinese universities should strengthen the technical support and the openness of social platform.During the guarantee of the government system,they should strengthen the construction of the network platform and open social organization to support the practice of flipped classroom.Chinese universities will do better after they have done the above suggestions.And the practice of flipped classroom will develop better and faster. |
