With the development of society, it has a higher requirement for the quality of education and talents. MIT provides an excellent curriculum system of humanities arts and social sciences, which is called HASS Requirements for short, for all the undergraduate students. HASS Requirements is an important part of MIT’s General Institute Requirements. There are three components to the HASS Requirement:Distribution, Concentration, and HASS Electives. Every candidate for a bachelor’s degree must have completed a minimum of eight term subjects in the humanities, arts, and social sciences, including distribution and concentration components.
