The new curriculum reform proposes that evaluation should be performed under the goal of promoting the students' all-round development,understanding their developmental needs,as well as discovering and developing their various potentials.However,traditional education assessment only focus on the evaluation of students' linguistic competence and mathematical competence,as a result,it neglected students' other abilities development.Therefore,under the guidence of Multiple Intelligences,this article studies and explores the evaluation for students' multimedia works in information technology teaching.This article first systematically collects and analyzes the research theories on Multiple Intelligences and the evaluations of multimedia works.Then,it uses statistical method and experts grading method to creat the evaluation index,besides,it also sets different percentage for all the evaluation indexes.Thus,the evaluation scale for multimedia works is generated,and then students ' multimedia works evaluation system is built with the guidence of Multiple Intelligence.This evaluation system sets students,group members and teachers as evaluation subjects,and uses the contents,skills and artistry of multimedia works as evaluative dimensions.Furthermore,it evaluates student ' s language intelligence,logical-mathematical intelligence,spatial intelligence,musical intelligence,naturalist intelligence and existential intelligence by using qualitative evaluation method,thus,this evaluation system can analyze students ' multiple intelligence development.After putting forward the multimedia works evaluation system which is based on MultipleIntelligence Theory,I did relevant experimental researches on information technology teaching for Class 7 and Class 8 in Grade one in Changjun Meixihu Middle School.By using SPSS to analyze the experimental results,we can find out those students ' scores of multimedia works have been improved a lot in the experimental classes.This research built a multimedia works evaluation system which is based on Multiple Intelligence Theory.It can improve students 'information literacy and promote their multiple intelligence development by applying this system to information technology teaching.
