A Probe Into The Application Of Self-motive Method In Teaching Chinese In Thai Primary School

This article explored how to apply the self-motive method to the primary school in Thailand.First of all,this paper introduced the Chinese teaching situation in Thai primary schools.Thai schools generally used the traditional teaching method,which the teaching model was monotonous and students feel boring.Students’ listening and speaking skills were generally weak,and they were not interest in Chinese learning.In view of the present situation of Chinese teaching in Thai primary schools,this paper carried out the experiment of self-motive method in Thai elementary classroom.The experiment was divided into two steps,the first step,the design of experimental research program,research objectives,research content and research methods.The second step,the self-motive method was applied to listening,speaking,vocabulary and grammar classroom.Then,we analyzed the using of self-motive method in Thai elementary school classroom.The analyze divided into three steps.The first step analyzed the student test results.The second step,the behavior of students was observed and evaluated.The third step,the students was conducted a questionnaire survey that investigated the students’ changing idea of teaching methods.By applying the self-motive method to the Thai primary school,we found a variety of problems:first,the Thai class discipline was poor,the teacher gave the students more practice time,the classroom is completely chaotic;Then,the Thai students are usually in a non-Chinese environment,so in the conscious practice,the Chinese vocabulary and grammar can not be understood and often misuse by students.In view of the above problems,this paper put forward the solution:In view of the poor discipline of Thai school,Chinese teachers need to discuss with the students to develop democratic class rules at the beginning of the semester.For Thai students living in nonverbal environments,they often misuse words and grammar.Therefore,teachers should use a variety of ways to create a Chinese environment for students,so that students experience authentic Chinese.
