Study On The Problem Of Student Enrollment In Adult Higher Education

China's adult higher education with a long history,had helped to cultivate a group of professional,technical and management personnel.Adult higher education had obtained the development and growth during the process.Recently,due to uprising enrollment of the ordinary colleges and the descending recognition of adult colleges,the numbers of adult students in adult college fell sharply,many adult colleges faced with this severe situation.Because there are not enough students to make up a class,it is urgent to deal with the problem of improving the numbers of enrolment.At the same time,the irrational age structure,the different levels of enrollment and varieties of motivation should be responsible for the declining quality of studentsThis paper mainly studies the problems and countermeasures of enrolments in adult higher education,which mainly divided into five chapters.Chapter 1 discusses the research background and significance,the main content and research methods of this study.Chapter 2 defines the related concepts,basic theories of adult higher education in interpretation,introduces the adult education and adult higher education and the related policies and theories,provides the theoretical basis for this study.Chapter 3 describes the objective status of the students of adult higher education,including the advantages and problems of students of adult higher education on the basis of the analysis of Hexi Vocational College.Chapter 4 deeply analyses the reasons of the students of Adult Higher Education.Chapter 5 puts forward strategies to deal with the problems of students in high education.There are specific measures for sound organization and management system,improving the practice of lifelong education social acceptance,and effectively improve the quality of teaching,making people-oriented to promote the coordinated development of students.
