Function is the core content of middle school mathematics,among which acute triangle function is an important part of function,is the key and difficult point of junior high school teaching.This paper adopts the research methods of literature analysis,questionnaire and interview,investigates the concept and application of acute triangle function in junior high school,analyzes the problems of acute triangle function teaching and learning,and puts forward targeted teaching improvement strategies.In this paper,the investigation of the concept of acute angle trigonometric function and the teaching and learning of the acute angle trigonometric function in six classes in Hangzhou Cambridge middle school,found that students(1)the importance of acute triangle function cannot be correctly understood;(2)the learning motivation of acute triangle function is not strong;(3)the understanding of the concept of acute triangle function is very not;(4)the acute angle trigonometric function can not be used flexibly in practical problems.Through the investigation of 8 teachers in Hangzhou Cambridge middle school for more than 10 years,it is found that the teaching idea and method of acute triangle function of teachers are relatively old;(2)the teaching methods and methods adopted in teaching are single;(3)the integral effect of the concept teaching of acute triangle function is poor.Based on the results of investigation,under the guidance of construction theory and zone of proximal development theory,the author puts forward the following suggestions:(1)to integrate the history of trigonometric function into classroom teaching;(2)fastening the students' initiative and creating the situation;(3)promoting concept generation through problem driven;(4)diversify exercise to strengthen the concept.(5)group cooperation to achieve common growth of students.Suggestions on the application of acute angle trigonometric function:strengthen the establishment of the application model of acute angle trigonometric function.According to the results of investigation and analysis,the author suggests that the reasonable teaching process should be designed based on the theory of constructivism and the zone of proximal development.
