The knowledge of function has been running through the process of compulsory education,and the concept of function is redefined and the denotative meaning is expanded,which increases the students’ learning difficulty in the stage of high school.The acute Angle of the triangle function studied in the stage of compulsory education is a kind of special function which directly reflects the corresponding character,so it plays a transitional role in the part of function in the junior and high middle school.This study is carried out by designing the comparing experiment,and controlling the experimental variables and making the experimental intervention,and at last getting the results of the experiment.Before designing the experimental teaching plans,it should test the developmental degrees of the functional concepts of the third-year students of junior middle school to confirm the developmental stages of the functional concepts before the test.The study will get the test data by designing the teaching plan of the acute angle trigonometric functions,which are based on the concept of function and testing students’ understanding degrees after the experimental intervention.It will compare the after-test data between the experimental classes and the normal classes and compare the pre-test data and after-test data of the class itself respectively in order to make sure the viability of the teaching design,and to determine students’ acceptable levels of the experimental lessons and check whether it deepens student’s understanding of the functions or not.This research aims to study the impact of students which is made by different designs and different ways of interaction between teachers and students.In the process of experiment,it displays students’ acceptance in the acute angle triangle function and their developmental level of the concept of function and provides some reference for the mathematics curriculum and teaching.After sorting and analyzing the experiment data,this study gets the following conclusion:(1)Students can accept the explanation of acute triangle function from the perspective of function.After comparing the data between the experimental class and regular class,it displays that the correct number of the after-test of the experimental class students is higher than the regular class students.(2)This research turns out that understanding the concepts of function has been obviously strengthened by the modification of the teaching design of this lesson’s acute Angle trigonometric functions,namely,experimental intervention extends the students’ understanding of the concepts of function.The thesis finally provides a complete design of three-hour lesson about the acute Angle trigonometric functions which is based on the design of the function concept,and puts forward practical suggestions for front-line teachers in the teaching process of acute triangle function.
