With the advancement of the urbanization process in Xi'an,the changes in the fields of economy,society and culture are becoming more and more obvious.The public demand for social policy is more complicated and diversified,and social policy is paid more and more attention.With the advance of democracy,Public demand for advice and advice on social policy is more intense,and public participation is not only related to the public's own interests,but also to measure the progress of society research on public participation in the field of social policy is not only necessary and important.This paper firstly analyzes and summarizes the present situation of public participation in social policy of Xi'an by analyzing the results of the questionnaire survey,and expounds the mode of public participation of social policy in Xi'an through three typical cases,with a view to furthering the situation of public participation understanding,and then according to the status description and the results of the case study to induce the problems existing in pubulic participation of social policy in Xi'an from the aspects of government,the public and mechanism.Secondly,it explains the problems of public participation of social policy in Xi'an from four aspects:cultural factors,social psychology,urbanization and self-ability,which are related to the cultural development,social interaction and social capital theory.Finally,based on the research of this paper,author tries to put forward the optimization path of public participation of social policy in Xi'an:implement civic education,cultivate civic consciousness,improve participation mechanism,ensure participation and smoothness,enhance public quality and enhance participation ability.
