| The quality of employment of workers,the most important and dynamic segment of the population of all ages,is directly related to the sustainability of the economy and is a good example of the level of higher education in the country.Raising the employment rate and wage level of laborers is a major issue that China needs to pay special attention to in the new era.At the current stage,the working population is experiencing various problems,such as a large wage gap,poor job stability and low participation in formal work,the problem of the quality of employment of the working population can not be underestimated.At the national level,the low employment quality of the laborers is a serious waste of the state’s investment in education,and solving the problem of the employment quality of laborers should arouse the general concern of the state and society.In recent years,academia has begun to pay attention to the role of social capital on income inequality,and related research has become more and more active and controversial,and the role of social capital in the job market has certain practical significance.On the one hand,workers should choose areas that can provide them with sufficient employment opportunities;on the other hand,workers will also choose to increase their social capital to increase their chances of obtaining quality jobs,thereby raising their income level.China is a relational society,has always attached importance to family,friends,neighbor-based human relations,in the study of which factors affect the income level of workers,social capital is an important factor that can not be ignored.Based on the relative information,this paper uses the 2018 data of the China Labor-force Dynamics Survey to start research,takes the total income of workers in2017 as the dependent variable,selects the operational indicators of social capital as the independent variable,and analyzes the relationship between social capital and labor income through OLS regression.Specifically,on the basis of relevant research results and the sample data of Chinese workers in CLDS2018,this paper mainly focuses on two issues: first,whether social capital will have a positive impact on the income status of workers in the overall situation;secondly,which aspect of social capital has the most significant impact on workers’ income.The results show that social capital variables have positive effects on workers’ income in general,but some aspects are not obvious.On the social network level of social capital,the more workers who can borrow money,the higher their income level,and the more people who tell their worries,the lower their income level.This may be because the increase in the number of people who can speak out can only help workers with emotional support and can not provide practical help with work and income,while the number of people who can speak out is higher,often adumbrative laborer oneself faces a problem to solve alone hard,lack the ability of active solution problem,work indecision,unfavorable concrete work and life.On the social participation level of social capital,the more active the laborers participate in community voting,the higher their income level.In the social trust of social capital,this has no significant impact on the income of workers./n Based on the conclusions of the above empirical study,this paper suggests that the government departments concerned should take the protection of the rights and interests of workers as their goal,give full play to their own service functions,and establish an equal employment service system for all kinds of workers,: : address the institutional barriers of workers and gender-based income inequality at the legislative level.Communities,village committees and other grass-roots units should play a supporting role,actively open all kinds of resources to workers and provide timely assistance when they are victims of unlawful violations,so as to better integrate this group into social life.In addition,workers themselves should strive to improve their own quality,strive to learn relevant training for various occupations,and expand their own social capital as an important complementary channel in the job search process,social capital can enable workers to obtain greater employment opportunities and thus to seek higher income standards. |
