Performance assessment is to evaluate the performance of students in the performance of the task or the results of the work in the real environment or simulated reality.With the development of the new curriculum concept and the reform of evaluation,the performance assessment has been popularized and applied by more and more educators.However,through the survey on the current situation of evaluation and performance assessment of Chinese language,it is found that the current Chinese evaluation practice is still lagging behind the concept of the new curriculum reform.The evaluation and teaching are in a state of separation,the function of the evaluation to promote the teaching and learning has not been fully exploited.In view of the existing problems,it is necessary to strengthen the application of performance assessment in Chinese teaching to make up for the deficiency of the pencil-and-paper test.Combined with the characteristics of Chinese language,this paper discusses the application of Chinese performance assessment from two aspects:design and implementation,focusing on the development of students' Chinese quality.In the implementation process,we should pay attention to the performance assessment embedded in the teaching.Using evaluation to promote teaching and learning,in order to achieve the integration " curriculum objectives-teaching-learning-assessment"and establish developmental evaluation system of Chinese.
