The performance assessment has been a focus in the fieds of international edcation ,which has drawn much attention of our educational fied since the reform of new curriculum .Some educationists and psychologists have done some research and introduction on it and some teachers have put it into pratice and has made some pleasing achievements .However, compared with foreign countries ,because this kind of performance assessment hamit been carried out for a long time at home,most of us are only green hands up till now.Few works has been written concerning it, and works which are combined with characteristics of Chinese language and students' compositions are even less.Many teachers and educators have been ambigious and even misunderstanding about its' basic principles and ways of usage,so many problemes have arisen in the process of teaching Chinese ,which brings many disadvantages to its usage and function.In my pinion ,it is absolutetly possible to apply this performance assessment to composition writing in Senior schools.It can help teachers assess this teaching objectively.Students' accumalation of the Chinese language ,ability of writing,and their attitudes towords it .In addition,it can give much light to their students' review and improvement in the field .This article concerns with some explorations of this application from theory and practical writing.On aspect of theory, this article is concered about the characteristics ,principles foundation, theory basis and possibility with the aid of document reseach .Qn the other aspect of practice ,personal perspectives are presented by reseaching students' attitudes,individual as well as the methods,aims of the assess.This articles aims to improve students' writing ability by exploring the possibility of application,establishing a series of standards for the benefit of students.It consists of five chapters.The prefix mainly introduces the backgrand,aim contents,methods and procudare of the assessment in composition teaching.Chapter 1 sets light to backgrand ,its denefition, characteristics,principles and theory basis. Chapter 2 mainly discusses its advantages. Chapter 3 focuses on the establishment of the assessment about compositions in senior school And the last Chapter gives us the exploration of its application in practical and workable as well as the summary of the whole process. |
