| As a technological innovation in educational field,micro-lecture meets the requirements of the curriculum standards about instructional design.With the features of short,having distinct theme,and without limitation of time and places,micro-lecture has deep impact on the traditional teaching idea,teaching technique,as well as the teaching methods.Using the Micro-lecture at a right place and in a right time will be very helpful for improving the quality and effects of English teaching.Based on the theories of micro study and cognitive load,this paper aimed to optimize the instruction design of the micro-lecture courses.Taking the prize----winning micro-lecture works in the 2nd Chinese Micro-lecture Competition as a case,this paper chosen and classifiedthe works which are needed.Then,on the basis of the curriculum standards’ requirements about the instructional design,it combined the quantitative research methods with the qualitativeresearch methodsto do the status analysis of the instructional design research of the micro-lecture in junior middle school from the teaching objects,teaching contents,teaching activities and the teaching evaluation.Besides,the author tried to discuss the relations between the micro-lecture courses’ design levels and the different grades of the prizes as well.As a result,the writer found that the top-ranked micro-lectures should have good instructional design,but if a work only has good instructional design,it can not sure about it’s good rank.Also,this paper found there are many advantages in these micro-lectures: the teaching aims in some works are very comprehensive;the teaching contents in all the works have clear-cut theme and suitable teaching materials;for the teaching activities,all those works have a certain theme,and most of them have the consolidate knowledge part and the self-assessment part.The design of the lead-in part and after-class assignments in some works are worth learning.For the teaching evaluation,some creative methods in some works are also very worthwhile.However,this paper also found there are many problems in the instructional design of the micro-lectures.For example,the teaching objectives in most of the works are not comprehensive and have nomulti-levels design,some teachers focus on the knowledge teaching too much,but ignore the attitude and the awareness of culture in language learning,the evaluation of the teaching goals are not comprehensive and the forms of the teaching evaluation are too single.At the end of the paper,in order to do something for micro-lecture construction,the writer offers some advice for these problems according to the requirements of the curriculum standards and personal understanding of the instructional design. |
