As an ancient Chinese written language,Classical Chinese is an important carrier of ancient Chinese culture and it is also the origin of contemporary Chinese language,therefore,we must inherit and preserve the wealth.Classical Chinese texts occupy a high proportion of high school Chinese compulsory teaching materials,which were published by People's Education Press and all of them are classic articles from many years ago as well as they get a very important position in Chinese teaching.At the same time,classical Chinese reading test occupies a very important position in the current college entrance examination papers,but the high school classical Chinese teaching lays a lot of emphasis on the guiding role of the examination,resulting in many problems in classical Chinese teaching.This paper adopts the comparative analysis method and the literature research method.Firstly,it analyses three major directions of the classical Chinese reading passages in national college entrance examination Chinese paper,which are the basis of test setting,the type of reading passages and the tendency of test points in the past ten years.Then it compares classical Chinese reading passages in national college entrance examination Chinese paper with classical Chinese in the teaching materials from guiding ideology,text objects,text characteristics and examining direction and combines with the teaching phenomenon which observed in the educational practicing to analyze the relationship between examination paper,teaching materials and teaching.Finally,it gives some advice on high school classical Chinese reading teaching from two aspects which are teaching content selection and teaching methods.This paper attempts to improve the quality of classical Chinese reading of high school from three aspects which are infiltrating traditional culture in the classical Chinese words studying,choosing teaching content according to the different styles of classical works,and emphasizing on dialogue teaching,to examine the teaching of classical Chinese reading,hoping to provide some ideas in high school classical Chinese teaching.
