In the background of new curriculum reform,it is urgent problems for our high school geography teachers to be solved that how to fully mobilize the initiative of students in the classroom,how to adapt to the requirements of the core literacy of students in senior geography in the new college entrance examination training and how to help students play the main role in learning.In the process of high school geography teaching,there are lots of essays on experiential teaching and activity teaching and so on,but there are a few of essays written from students' perspective,or based on the geography classroom teaching mode to check students' activity effect with related experience,not to mention research results combining systematic theories and teaching practice.Therefore,in this paper,from the perspective of theoretical and empirical studies,the author considers students from Sichuan University High School as the research object and did research in geography classroom to promote students' in-depth experience by using core problems teaching model.This paper explores the teaching mode in senior high geography classroom,try to find a way to let the students in the classroom to study the knowledge to achieve physical and mental depth of experience.Hopefully,the author can find a teaching model to change teachers' teaching and students' learning.Then,geography can play its characteristics which grow out of “ life" and as a consequence,the traditional geography classroom teaching model can be improved.The students can construct their geographical knowledge system by experiencing,discussing,induction and application of knowledge in this new teaching model.Let the students experience the relation between geography and life in the core problem teaching model of class,and understand that geographical knowledge is from life and should be applied to life in return.Aftercarrying out a survey of learning strategies of students in Sichuan University High School,the author realized that students' awareness has left the action behind seriously.On the theoretical basis of constructivism,tacit knowledge,experiential learning theory,metacognition etc,the author made the most of the core problem teaching model and tried to discuss the setting and characteristics of the core problem in high school geography teaching and how to assess students' in-depth experience in high school geography study.The author carried out the core problem teaching model in grade10-12,and test its effect to get the result of students' in-depth experience of geography knowledge after applying the core problem teaching model in classes.Last but not the least,the author analyzed and summarized the conclusions of this study,figuring out the existing problems and possible future research.
