With the implementation of new curriculum reform and new college entrance examination reform,it has been an indispensable part for teachers to develop and utilize other off-campus curriculum resources beyond the school curriculum knowledge.Local biological resources have been attached great importance and have been gradually used in compulsory education while there are relatively few applications of local biological resources in senior high school.Some senior high schools in urban areas in Chengdu,Sichuan province can make use of science museums,wetland parks and other off-campus curriculum resources which are inconvenient for senior high schools in two and three circles and most senior high schools in rural areas.However,these senior high schools are rich in local biological resources which can be taken into biology teaching.Thus the thesis takes Qionglai,where the author works,as the study area,classifies and concludes the local biological resources in Qionglai and applies them in real biology teaching in Senior High School,which aims to provide some useful teaching resources and teaching cases for biology teachers in senior high school.The author also hopes that this study can help biology teachers in senior high school realize the importance of integration and utilization of local biological resources.The thesis consists of the following four parts:(1)Firstly,there are massive literature reviews abroad and at home,including the current situation of biology curriculum resources researches,the principles and theories of integration of local biology resources and biology teaching in senior high school.(2)With the aid of questionnaire on biology curriculum resources and biology teaching,53 biology teachers in senior high schools in Qionglai were chosen as participants to get the current development and applications of biology curriculum resources.Then the author concluded and analyzed the results of the questionnaire.To have a deep understanding of the use of the biology curriculum resources,Qionglai Education and Training Center and leaders in some senior high schools were chosen as the participants of the interview.The author finds that they all have realized the importance of applications of local biology resources in biology class but they think it’s not so good to apply it in biology class because of college entrance examination,expenses,students’ safety issues and other factors.(3)After reviewing Qionglai local chronicles and on-site study,the author collected biology resources that can be used in biology teaching in senior high school,built the biology teaching resources library for senior high school and designed classic teaching cases,experiment teaching cases and original versions for theme activity plan and the on-site study experiment plan with the integration and utilization of biology environment and biology technology and biology teaching in senior high school.(4)With the help of case study method and action research method,two classes whose situations are similar in biology learning in senior two in Qionglai No.2 Middle School were chosen as the participants to study the unique advantages of integrati on and utilization of local biology resources and biology teaching in senior high school.The results show that it can arouse students’ interest in biology learning and increase students’ abilities of memorizing,viewing pictures,understanding and practicing,which finally can help improve biology teaching and develop students’ local emotion. |
