Self-efficacy is the belief that people are able to organize and implement the process of action required to achieve a specific achievement goal.Geography learning self-efficacy is the application of self-efficacy in geography learning.As our country on the "geography learning self-efficacy" research is relatively weak,coupled with high school students have just contact with secondary school geography knowledge,and there is little understanding of high school geography learning methods.This study is based on the present situation,and it is hoped that this study will help to improve the students' ability of learning and education teaching.The full text is divided into four parts:The first part,puts forward the research background,research significance,research methods and research status at home and abroad.The second part,this paper defines the concept of "self-efficacy" and "geography learning self-efficacy",introduces the theoretical basis of this study: observing learning theory,self-regulated learning theory,self-efficacy theory and attribution theory.The third part,according to the theory of self-efficacy,based on the relevant literature,a questionnaire was compiled,the questionnaire survey was conducted on210 students from the second middle school of Baoding,from the four structures of self-efficacy: "sense of ability","sense of effort","environment feeling" and "control feeling".Using the quantitative analysis method to analyze the data,it is found that the level of self-efficacy of geography learning is at a moderate level,and the level of "sense of ability" is low and the level of "sense of control" is higher.In terms of gender,boys' sense of "ability" and "sense of control" is better than girls,girls "effort" and "environmental sense" better than boys.On the basis of learning,the students in the experimental class have higher self-efficacy than ordinary classes.Based on the present situation,in order to improve the geography learning self-efficacy of senior students,through the analysis of the influencing factors,we find that the factors that affect the self-efficacy of geography students include six aspects: attribution way,example demonstration,successful experience,learning environment,learning goal,learning interest,and teachers were interviewed for the specific methods of cultivating high school students' geography learning self-efficacy.The fourth part,put forward six strategies to cultivate students' self-efficacy of geography: guide students to a reasonable attribution;provide students with appropriate model demonstrations;successful experience;create a harmonious geography learning environment;guide students to set a reasonable goal of geography learning;good at stimulating students interest in geography.
