Self-regulated learning is not just one of the three ways to promote new curriculum reforms and it's also an important research topic in the global education theory now.The necessityof self-regulated learning is increasing.Teaching classical Chinese is the focus and difficulty of high school language teaching.New curriculum standards of Chinese require classical Chinese teaching to promote self-regulated learning.Now the classical Chinese teaching's situations in senior high school are not so good.For example,students' interest in learning classical Chinese is not high,the low scores in classical Chinese tests,the model of classical Chinese teaching is single,etc.Practical teaching doesn't make students learn classical Chinese by themselves and the teaching of classical Chinese is in trouble now.Changing the way of classical Chinese teaching and cultivating senior high school students' self-regulated learning ability of classical Chinese are necessary.This is also the requirement for curriculum standards and the key measures to achieve effective teaching in classical Chinese and enhance the language literacy of students.Based on the present situations,this study firstly analyzes the theories of self-regulated learning theory and summarizes the main research dimensions of this research.This study adopts questionnaire and observation andtake Changchun W High School-a key senior high schoolin Jilin provinceas the research object.Then this study carries out the questionnaire investigationof the situations of grade one students' self-regulated learning in classical Chinese,use Microsoft Excel 2007 and SPSS17.0 to analyze statistical dataand finally come to investigationconclusion.The conclusion is that grade one students' self-regulated learning ability of classical Chinese in Changchun W High Schoolis low on the whole,especiallythe low performancein self-regulated learning content,method of self-regulated learning,self-regulated learning motivation,etc.The differences in gender and class also need to be concerned.This study combined with Changchun W High School's education background and the investigationconclusion,take an interviewwith the objects of this study.Then this study analyses the questions and current situations of grade one students' self-regulated learning ability of classical Chinese in Changchun W High School.And the questions are the low performance in self-regulated learningcontent,self-regulated learning methods,self-regulated learningmotivation,etc.I analyze the cause and finally find out the reasons why students' self-regulated learning ability of classical Chinese is low on the whole and why there is a difference in self-regulated learning ability of classical Chinese in gender and class between different students.This shows that Changchun W High Schoolneeds to develop and improve its students' self-regulated learning ability of classical Chinese.On the basis of this,this study aims at the cultivation and promotion of students in the aspects of the weak learning ability of Changchun W High School students' self-regulated learning ability of classical Chinese.And make recommendations and strategies of improving students' self-regulated learning ability of classical Chinese from self-regulated learningcontent,self-regulated learning methods,self-regulated learningmotivation,and teachers' evaluation.Finally,this studytakes "Encouraging Learning" from senior high school Chinese textbook ?as an exampletoput the adviceinto practical teaching and this lesson has got a good teaching result.Combining the practical teaching,I reflect and supplement the proposed recommendations and strategies.
