The construction and application of MOOC have been hot rapidly in the field of higher education since 2013,with the leading of domestic first-class universities,such as,Tsinghua University,Peking University,Shanghai Jiaotong University.Many celebrated universities have made public alignment with each other in a short span of four years to establish many famous MOOC platforms and exhibit thousands of high quality courses.According to statics,MOOC have customized courses of over 5600 times for universities and over 30 million learners from university and society have joined in MOOC.So the impact of MOOC on higher education have swept across the country.Considering that college students' ideological and political education(CSIPE)with features of great scale of students,scarcity of teachers and boring content,plays a crucial role in higher education,we can figure out the current predicaments of ideological and political education(IPE)effectively with the help of MOOC and contribute to carry out IPE with high efficiency.First,with the beginning of rapid development of internet,this paper explores that in the age of MOOC college students' ideology changes a lot,the relationship between teachers and students develops very well,the outdated educational patterns are reformed.Meanwhile,it brings some challenges to this disciplinary teachers and student,making teaching management tend to be complicated,increasing the pressure of educational cost,influencing the teaching appraise.According to this,the exploration to the impacts of MOOC on IPE from positive and negative sides is conductive for experts and scholars to reflect and locate MOOC.Second,for one thing,this paper takes Z university as object to survey the development situation of IPE,the acceptability of teacher and student to MOOC and the applying suggestions,as well as the existing problems of applying MOOC in IPE,including students' lower enthusiasm,teachers' weak applicability,the small pushing power of university.For another thing,taking domestic universities with a mature MOOC construction as example,this paper analyzes its experience of construction and compares with the current situation of MOOC construction of Z university andconcludes that MOOC construction of IPE is a necessary and pressing project.Third,through the discussion of positive and negative impacts of MOOC on IPE and combining empirical survey for Z university and the cases analysis of Tsinghua University,Wu Han University and Hubei Polytechnic university,this paper proposes that the MOOC construction of IPE should take effective teaching theory and the learning theory of connectivism as guidance,orient the position of MOOC in IPE,pointing out that MOOC is the subsidiary of teachers,the carrier of IPE,the intensifier of IPE concept and the booster of students' receiving education.Furthermore,we should effectively adjust the elements and functions of CSIPE in the background of MOOC,that is maneuvering students' initiative,considering the exchange of teachers' position and innovating the methods of teaching appraise.Forth,this paper comprehensively analyzes the challenges that CSIPE is facing with in the era of MOOC and the existing problems of applying MOOC in IPE,putting forward the applying strategies of MOOC in CSIPE,suggesting that students should join in MOOC actively,strength their autonomy and improve awareness of IPE;teachers should update concept,improve technology of MOOC,increase the attraction of MOOC and get up on the right side;university should attach importance to MOOC construction,share MOOC resources,improve the executive force and enhance publicity;government should enforce policy guarantee,expand financial support and create a platform of diversification.This paper analyzes the challenges and hindrances that the CSIPE is facing with in the era of MOOC through questionnaire survey,document analysis and comparative approach.Its innovative points display as follows: 1.There are few related researches combining MOOC with IPE currently and it takes supervisor's project as selective sources.From the perspective of selected topic,this paper choose a new generalization;2.This paper studies the acceptability of college students to MOOC application and its applying hindrance to propose some strategies.Therefore,empirical research is also one of innovation points;3.This paper analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of MOOC pattern and traditional education methods respectively and compares with domestic universities with mature MOOC construction.From the perspective of research content,it is quite novel.
