With the changes of the society,the development of economy and the progress of the information technology,the nations of the world have become an integral whole.In the face of unprecedented challenges,the state put forward the guiding ideology of "deepening the reform of higher education through the internationalization of Education" in the medium-and long-term education reform and development plan.For a time,the internationalization of education has become a hot pursuit in the higher education sector,and the colleges and universities have made international education development plan one after another.However,due to differences in the original cultural,traditional and system between the schools,the colleges and universities has been limited in terms of curriculum development,resource development and teacher training,and the advancement of education internationalization has been difficult.In this context,the China Scholarship Council’s and its affiliated Oriental International Education Exchange Center,through its extensive resources and extensive channels of international educational exchanges,combined with domestic and foreign institutions and international education experts to research and develop international cooperation projects,namely the International Scholarly Exchange Curriculum(Undergraduate)(ISEC)project.The ISEC project is an international teaching reform project which is aimed at general undergraduate colleges and universities.Since the implementation of the ISEC project in 2012,the project has been introduced by more and more ordinary undergraduate institutions with its new teaching philosophy,advanced curriculum system,diverse teaching methods and evaluation mechanism and humanized teaching management.From theperspective of the implementation of institutions,it has made great breakthroughs and progress on the whole,and has brought the new momentum of the reform to the institutions.However,due to the reasons of project implementation’ time is short,teachers and students do not understand the teaching philosophy thoroughly,the teachers are unskilled to the scale rubrics in process of evaluation and others,there are still many problems in the process of the project’ implementation,the project’advantage is not very optimistic.Therefore,this paper taking ISEC project as the research subject,with representative institutions-Baotou Teachers’ College as the research object,using ISEC project teaching idea as the starting point,adopt the method of literature,observation,investigation,comparative analysis and other research methods to study the ISEC project teaching idea and teaching the practice systematically,expecting to provide reference to the ISEC project management personnel to improve management and ISEC project teachers to improve teaching.The first part of the article is a general introduction to the ISEC project,including the implementation of the ISEC project in the country,ISEC project’ talent training mode,credit system,curriculum system and service system.In the second part,the author deeply analyzes the connotation of ISEC project teaching ideas,and on this basis,explores the theoretical basis of the ISEC project teaching ideas.In the third part,the author makes a thorough investigation on the specific implementation of the ISEC project teaching ideas in the teaching practice,to find out the problems in the implementation,and explore the possible reasons of these problems.At the same time,large amount of ink compared to the ISEC project teaching mode and the traditional teaching mode,from the multiple dimensions of training objectives,curriculum system,credit setting,teaching methods and evaluation methods,the relationship between teachers and students,and many other aspects,in order to reveal the advantages of the project ISEC.At last,the paper summarizes the teaching philosophy andteaching practice of ISEC project on the macro,and then discusses how to promote the reform of undergraduate teaching better in the future.
