| Just as what color means to the fine arts,color education has long been playing an important role in fine art subject.Specifically,color curriculum is an indispensable bond linking all sub-disciplines in fine art studying.However,many color curriculum are actually way less in-depth and abundant than they seem.Accordingly,this dissertation demonstrates my attempts at integrating inquiring learning into color education,which may grant students more creativity by the fully display of their subjective initiative during the process of learning and finally reach the goal of digging up more value in color education.This dissertation has gained understandings of the status quo and problems in fine art education in primary and middle schools in China by analyzing and concluding the core journals,standards of curriculum,text books in fine art education as well as the results from the questionnaires distributed to students,teachers,social education faculty and designers in different regions.Based on this result,and according to the Theory of Color,Color Psychology,Theory of Inquiry-based Learning,Multiple Intelligence Theory and Art Education Theory,I have designed a series of teaching schemes of color education in primary and middle schools,and developed many units of the course,both of which covered 4 major learning areas in fine art studying.The Comparisons between students’ learning outcomes before and after my practice on parts of the curriculum designed further proves the practicability and progressiveness of the integration of inquiring learning into the color education. |
