| In the mathematics curriculum standards of compulsory education in 2011,the calculating ability is identified as one of the ten core qualities of mathematics.The training of students’ calculating ability is closely related to calculation teaching,especially in primary school.Calculation teaching is one of the most important and basic content in the elementary school mathematics teaching.The author chooses calculation teaching as the research object to solve the problems of the calculation teaching in current region,such as the decline of students’ calculating ability and the poor efficiency of the classroom teaching,etc.The content of this research is based on the current situation calculation teaching in the local area,which five primary schools are taken as an example.In order to solve the problems existing in teachers’ calculation teaching which are found in the investigation,the author puts forward several strategies to help teachers improve their teaching behaviors,like,increase the efficiency of the classroom,as well as elevate students’ calculating capacity.The research includes three sections: Firstly,to learn about the current situation of calculation teaching and analyze the problems existing in teachers.These problems mainly includes: teachers are slaves of the teaching material;students’ learning is determined by teacher’s teaching;teachers’ single and boring teaching methods;teachers’ imbalanced teaching evaluation.Secondly,the author conducts a comparing experiment in classroom by adopting the action research methodology,which both quantitatively and qualitatively verifies the validity and benefits of improved calculating teaching.Thirdly,summarize the strategies of how to improve calculating teaching,which includes teaching strategy and learning strategy.We can come to conclusion in this research as follows: Firstly,teachers should deal with the teaching materials reasonably and optimize the teaching cases;Secondly,teaching prediction should be adjusted wisely according to the actual classroom;Thirdly,students’ individuality should be respected and the optimal algorithm should be encouraged.Fourthly,teachers should pay more attention to the calculation process and select calculation exercises elaborately in order to improve the students’ ability of calculation and increase the enthusiasm of the students.Students’ learning strategies can be summarized as the following: to cultivate the habit of active checking and timely correction. |
