Youth groups are not only one of the most important tourists in the campground,but also the potential customers for the future.Young people are in the critical period of knowledge acquisition,mental development and social communication ability acquisition.The best destination for them to travel is to learn and teach in a camp.Campgrounds provide a beautiful natural environment,group activities,and well-designed activities.Campsites that really attract young people must be based on understanding of young people camping needs,especially on the educational function of camp needs to master.To understand the needs of educational function of campground for youth groups,the paper adopts the methods of literature research,expert interview,and questionnaire survey and so on.On the basis of literature and expert interviews,this paper summarizes the current situation of domestic and international camping,and points out the problems existing in the camping development of Chinese mainland.Secondly,choosing high school freshmen of the Yangpu district of Shanghai as the research object and doing two questionnaires about the youth groups' needs on educational functions of campgrounds.The first questionnaire for the campgrounds' educational function is an importance questionnaire survey,to understand the importance of campgrounds' educational function,and using factor analysis to summarize the adolescents' demand type on the educational function of campgrounds.Second questionnaire based on the Kano model is for identifying the priorities of the adolescents' demand on the educational function of campgrounds.Introducing customer satisfaction index and customer dissatisfaction index into the research and drawing the matrix of customer satisfaction index.Finally,based on the results of the matrix of customer satisfaction index,proposed campgrounds in planning,designing,marketing and operations management and other aspects of proposals helped to attract young groups,and training them as loyal customers.
