With the rapid development of economic,our social life has changed greatly.The individual's mobility has become larger,which makes the individual's circumstances become unstable.In this situation,the villagers who left their hometown need to find a way to prevent the social community from being broken.They try to reach an agreement and consensus,in order to deal with "crisis of the identity" in the modern society.This paper is based on the field investigation of Liancun village.We use the social identity theory to discuss about the way the migrant villagers of lineage village to express their recognition of the hometown.At first,we combine literary research and field investigation together to collect data and describe the rural ceremony.At the same time,it also has its own system of rules.Then,according to the procedure of the ceremonies,we talk about the different ways of the migrant villagers' participation.Under the guide of the social identity theory,we has proved that the rural ceremonies can still use their own way to keep the migrant villagers' sense of recognition of hometown and meet the villagers' spiritual needs.Finally,we draw a conclusion of the study.The rural ceremonies have an important meaning.In order to protect and inherit our traditional culture,we need to find a equilibrium point to balance the economic and cultural benefits.This study tries to analyze the functions of ceremonies in Liancun Village at the time when the migrant villagers are seeking the sense of recognition.We hope the officials will solve the problems of constructing the new rural in the view of the rural conditions.collective memory...
