With the rapid development of social economy and culture,many drawbacks in the traditional campus culture and students' quality activities have been exposed,and the lagging management system of traditional quality activities cannot meet the needs of the society and the contemporary college students' physical and mental development,which has restricted the launching of quality activities,the quality activities with less strong innovation ? imprecise organization of fewerenthusiasticparticipants,and the management mode of lesssystematic,scientific and normalization.And it has affected the construction of campus culture only to hinderthe landing and development of quality-oriented education of higher vocational colleges.Thus the above problem has become a significant subject to improve the management level of quality activities.In recent years,project management has developed into an important comprehensive discipline as a branch of management science.As an innovative thinking model and management experience,the project process management and quality management theory has been extensively used in many fields,such as construction engineering,manufacturing industry and information projects.But the theory hasn't been widely applied in the quality activities of college students.Combining the current background of vigorously carrying out quality-oriented education and thoroughly improving the comprehensive competency of college students in China,it's necessary to sort out the project progress management and quality management theory and tools as well as improve the management mode of quality activities in a competency training platform.Quality activities of college students refer to a series activities aiming at improving the comprehensive competency of college students around different themes and forms,which have the same characteristics as projects,such as target,uniqueness unicity,resource constraint,etc..Andit is significant to use relevant theory of project management to guide quality activities.This paper carries out researches on the progress and quality management of the project of quality activities,and according to the further study and discussion of the project progress and quality management theory,it explores the status and problems of college students' quality education activities in the progress and quality management.At the same time,this paper looks for the universality and integration between college students' quality education activities and the progress of quality management.Furthermore,it penetrates the field of quality activity management,innovates the management mode of college students' quality activities,and fully learns from the existing research results and foundation to explore the development trends and management models of quality-oriented education.Based on the characteristics of student groups from K Unit which takes parent forum activities for an example,the author introduces the theory and management mode to explore the steps and methods of the progress and quality management of quality activities suitable for the actual situation of K Unit.This paper summarizes the work breakdown structure and the division of critical path appropriate for the project progress and management of college students' quality activities,applies PDCA quality cycle theory to the process of improving the quality management of quality activities,optimizes the progress of activity management,and fully mobilizes the participation of all workers to achieve effective integration of manpower and material resources.And with all of above effort,we hope to expand the beneficial effects and influence of quality activities and make a beneficial attempt for exploring the fusion between theory and practice in the field of education and training as well as the field of project management.
