Senior high school education is the important transition period in the development of life.Under the current education system, high school students face much academic pressure. The well-being of senior high school students is influenced by many factors, such as the family, schools, teachers, and the individual himself.Family environment is the basis of the high school students growing up and parents' well-being is the key factor of the family factors that affect high school students' well-being.The Influence of parents' well-being on that of the senior high school students is discussed. It is greatly significant to the work where the headmaster can effectively guide parents to adopt scientific mode of family education when conducting class management. It is also meaningful to improve the well-being of senior high school students and promote the healthy growth of them. This study first defines the concepts of well-being,subjective well-being,psychological well-being as well as class management and review the related researches both at home and abroad. Then I applied the Multiple Happiness Questionnaire(MHQ),which was compiled by Miao Yuan Jiang,to the survey.MHQ is a localized evaluation tool that is multi-dimensional,multi-measured and multi-functional.It includes two dimensions: subjective well-being and psychological well-being,using a 1-7 rating scale and a total of 50 projects. In each index more than 5 points are high marks and less than 3 points are low marks. The survey was conducted in four senior high school students and their parents in Shandong province.A total of 500 questionnaires were distributed to students, with 485 questionnaires gathered;a total of 500 questionnaires were distributed to parents, with 466 questionnaires gathered. The invalid questionnaires removed, the students' were matched with the parents',and finally the effective questionnaires obtained were 375 ones.Through the research and analysis of the research results and discussion, the following conclusions are drawn:1.By using bivariate correlation analysis,it is showed that there are obvious connections between senior high school students' well-being and that of parents.Senior high school students' subjective well-being and psychological well-being are positively correlated to their parents' subjective well-being and psychological well-being,suggesting that when parents' well-being is high,well-being of high school students is high, and vice versa.2.Through the data analysis,it was found that from the aspects of parents marriage, age, occupation, education degree, hobbies, parental self-evaluation of family economic situation, and students' self-evaluation of academic achievement, parents' well-being as well as students' well-being is significantly different. On the whole, the well-being of high school students and that of their parents are on a high level. The score of psychological well-being of both students and parents is higher than that of subjective well-being.The score of parents' well-being is higher than that of the students in two dimensions. From the aspect of marriage, the well-being of the parents in the marriage and that of high school students are higher than that of the divorced parents and that of the students. From the aspect of age,the well-being of the parents aged 44-46 and that of the high school students are higher;the well-being of the students whose parents aged 46-47?50 or above are low. From the aspect of parents' occupation, the well-being of the parents whose occupation is a teacher or a doctor is higher while the well-being of the parents whose occupation is a farmer or a worker is lower. The well-being of students whose parents are teachers or doctors is high while the well-being of students whose parents are farmers or workers is low. From the aspect of educational degree, the well-being of the parents who got junior college degree, bachelor degree or master degree and the well-being of their children are high;the well-being of the parents who only finished high school or middle school,or even primary school and the well-being of their children are low. From the aspect of hobby and expertise, the well-being of parents whose hobby are art and painting is high, and so are their children. The well-being of parents who have no hobby is low,and so are their children. From the aspect of parental self-evaluation of family economic situation, the well-being of parents and the well-being of high school students increase with the increase of Parental self-evaluation of family economic situation. From the aspect of students' self-evaluation of academic achievement, the well-being of parents and the well-being of high school students increase with the increase of students' self-evaluation of academic achievement. In the following cases: their parents divorced;their parents are farmers;their parents are in a lower degree;their parents have no hobby;their parental self-evaluation of family economic situation is low;the students' self-evaluation of academic achievement is low,the well-being of high school students is lower than average.3.According to the results of data analysis, the causes of low well-being are stated ranging from the divorced parents, parents aged 47-49 and 50 years of age, parents' occupation for farmers, parents of low educational level, parents having no hobbies, parents' who rated family economic status through self-evaluation,students who rated poor achievement through self-evaluation.4.In the view of causes, countermeasures are put forward which can be taken by the headmaster in the class management to guide parents to take scientific education methods to improve the well-being of senior high school students.
