Teaching is a bilateral activity composed of teachers and students.Instructional design is one of the main work of teachers teaching which plays a leading role in the teaching work and decides orientation of the instructional design. Considering the actual situation of the students and the characteristics of junior high school physics curriculum, optimizing instructional design for the actual situation of the school, accords with students' cognitive characteristics, stimulates students interest in learning physics, reveals the physical phenomena hidden in them by exploring the physical phenomena, makes students learn to apply in the production of real life and cultivates students' exploration of fun, good habits of thinking and scientific practice ability.The instructional design is in accordance with classroom teaching activities. Instructional design combines teaching theory with teaching practice and conbines the basic theory and method of instructional design and the discipline. The paper by inquirying the related teaching theory,combined with the characteristics of physics teaching and mental development characteristics of middle school students, puts forward the strategy of optimizing instructional design, and makes physics instructional design plan Combining the junior high school students'actual, and achieved good results.
