Learning to learn has become the development of the times,and the self-monitoring ability is the basis and core of learning to learn,with the new transformation of education in depth,how to cultivate students’ self-monitoring ability in teaching has become an urgent need to solve one of the most important issues,As a Chemical teacher,with the long-term observation in teaching practice,I found that the current status of junior middle school students Chemistry is not optimistic.Nowadays,although most schools carry out the new teaching methods in different areas,It is affected by the impact of examination,so the new teaching model is a kind of formality.Chemistry is the foundation of high school Chemistry learning in junior high school.It is helpful to cultivate and improve students’ ability to learn Chemistry independently.It can help to lay a solid foundation for future Chemistry study and lifelong learning.At the same time,the author is teaching the new teaching method – “Five Self-taught” self-learning model,and the promotion of this model requires students with good self-monitoring ability.Therefore,the author takes “Cultivation of Self-monitoring Ability of Chemistry Learning for Junior Middle School Students” as the title of the study,in order to train students self-monitoring ability in Grade Nine students to learn Chemistry,let students like Chemistry and develop good learning habits,with a certain degree of self-learning ability,while the student’s learning efficiency can be improved.On the basis of consulting the relevant literature,combining the self-control ability of constitution dimension,design the related question-aires and interview outline,investigate the secondary school students and some chemical teachers in the No.Middle School of Liangcheng County,Inner Mongolia from the development plan,the ability to carry out the audit,the ability to reflect the remediation and the ability to summarize the evaluation.The survey found that the students in Grade Eight are poor performance about self-control ability in the study of the target set,setting up learning plans,learning strategies and methods of choice,learning process monitoring,evaluation,summary and reflection,etc.There are two factors to influence students’ learning self-monitoring ability,The students’ aspect,it contains namely,cognition,interest,need,motivation,self-confid-ence and result attribution,etc.The teacher’s aspect,about the teaching theory,classroom models,learning methods and so on.Therefore,on the basis of analyzing the existing problems and influencing students’ ability of self-monitoring,we have established the strategies to cultivate and improve the self-monitoring ability of junior middle school students in Chemistry learning.These strategies mainly include the goal-oriented method,selfError analysis method,experimental inquiry teaching method and induction and finishing method.The author combined with the above strategies,through the“five self-teaching” self-learning model,“Chemical Formula”and “laboratory with potassium permanganate oxygen” two different cases,to practice teaching.And the experimental class and the control class of empirical research,summed up the teaching effect and experience,analysis the lack of research.The results showed that under the guidance of the training strategy,the students showed higher interest in the process of Chemistry learning,improved the ability of students’ autonomous learning,self-monitoring ability and academic achievement,and so on,and developed a good study habit.Finally,the development direction of the self-monitoring ability strategy is further forecast.It is believed that the research of this paper will provide useful reference for the current autonomous learning theory and teaching practice. |
