With the continuous development of competency theory,in recent years in the field of education has been fully attention.More and more research on teacher competency,but from the perspective of competency tutor results are less likely to see.The master’s tutor in the guidance of graduate study and ensure postgraduate training plays a leading role the quality,therefore the research of university graduate tutor competency is very important.This research mainly uses the literature method,Delphi method and statistical method,to construct the master tutor competency model.The model is composed of knowledge,professional ability,occupation character and personality traits of 4 level indicators,professional knowledge,guidance ability,occupation emotion,self characteristics of the 10 level two indexes and professional the theory of knowledge,teaching goal setting,learning guidance ability,graduate students self-confidence,constitute the impartiality of the 30 level three indexes.On the basis of the survey questionnaire of college graduate tutor competency indicators project university Master Tutor competency,after several revisions,the issuance of questionnaires to the6 universities in Jiangxi Province.The following conclusions are drawn from the analysis:(1)college graduate tutor competency overall level is better but there are weak links.From the master’s tutor competency level index evaluation results,knowledge literacy master tutor for 5.20,professional ability is 4.84,5.30 for the occupation character,personality traits as 5.02.from the overall master tutor competency the performance of 5.03,showed that the evaluation of the master’s tutor competency in a better level.From the specific indicators,master knowledge,occupation character and personality traits reached a good level,and professional ability is relatively weak.(2)because of their gender,seniority,title,age tutor,mentor will graduate degree in different professional categories,and other factors for performance of difference in force index positions.Female master tutor in personality traits,general knowledge,teaching ability and self characteristics better than men in the occupation mentor.Character and occupation moral,less than 20 years of teaching mentor,the occupation character and occupation moral is low,but is gradually perfect stage,after20 years,relatively stable.In scientific research ability,when teacher seniority in 0-10 years time,the gradual increase in the ability of scientific research,and when the tutor age of 10 years later,the scientific research ability has been basically stabilized.Effects of mentor years on competency is mainly reflected in the management ability,the best performance in 16-20 tutor management ability.The competency scores,professional ability,personality traits,management ability,guidance ability,occupation morality,self characteristics,interpersonal the characteristics,associate professor of competency as the performance impact of the highest degree.Professor Master Tutor only to teacher’s scientific research ability,higher education,scientific research ability is strong;it was named the provincial outstanding mentor and above only have significant differences in management ability,was rated as excellent at theprovincial level and above the guide Division is not higher than the appraised tutor in the management ability.(3)pre job training,organization of business activities and evaluation of teachers’ assessment is an important way to improve the competency of College StudentsThe study reflects the basic situation of the current university Master’s post competency,which has reference value for the selection,evaluation and improvement of the competency of the master’s Supervisor. |
