With the globalization of economy and the rapid development of science and technology,it is urgent for our country's basic education reform to adapt to the training of talents in the future society.The development of comprehensive practical activities enables students to apply and expand the knowledge of subject courses in practical activities,and improve their comprehensive abilities and qualities.The implementation of the current situation and problems of the comprehensive practical activities in located area of junior school were studied by the literature and questionnaire survey methods..The comprehensive practical activities were conducted in Grade seven of Zhenlong middle school,which contents of activities were screened from biology teaching material,the students' daily life and school environment.These activities carried out as making,exploring experiments and outdoor visiting.Finnally,the effect of activities was evaluated.The results showed that the comprehensive practical activity courses in Guangzhou Huangpu district(Luo gang area)were lack of training guidance by the implementation of junior middle schools,and there was no teaching plan can be implemented.Therefore,the quality and quantity of curriculum implementation is difficult to guarantee.Basing on this facts,seven cases of biological comprehensive practical activities were compiled and extended several topics,such as “Fish dying in hot weather” in fishery production,the ecological model of "duck living with rice" and making litchi vinegar production.These subjects were derived from students' daily life and reflected the characteristics of the community in which the school is located.Then,through the implementation of activity conduting for two years,interests of students in biology were increased and cooperation ability and scientific inquiry ability were enhanced,the comprehensive application and life skills of students were improved.The design and implementation of this research case was centered on students,and combined the content of activities and daily life,reflected the production and living characteristics of villages and towns in South China.The study provided reference for the relevant courses in the township middle schools.
