As the implementation of new curriculum standards, the application of information technology is added in high school mathematics textbooks of various versions. Meanwhile, IT aided teaching is greatly valued by China, favored by teachers and loved by students. Therefore, it is very meaningful to study the application of IT in high school math teaching in this information era.In this paper, chapter one is to introduce the background, status quo, method and meaning of researches on IT. In chapter two, students are interviewed for partial results; questionnaires are carried out and analyzed from the prospective of teachers and students in order to know about the use of IT in math studies of middle school teaching. Chapter three takes the textbooks of People's Education Press as an example and explores the application of IT relating to required and elective courses.Chapter four is no longer limited to the textbooks but open to the college entrance examination through the use IT to analyze program flow charts and three-view drawing,and make a predication for Program flow charts of the college entrance examination,2016.In chapter five, recommendations are offered to make IT a better part of math studies in middle school teaching, thus pushing IT and math studies to a close combination and raising teaching efficiency. Hopefully, it can be helpful in future teaching.
