With the popularity of information technology, especially in education and teaching area, more and more people show great interest in using it. Areas in China, where education is developed or less developed, cases which combine information technology and Mathematics teaching are obviously increasing. However, in underdeveloped areas, for example, Xihaigu area, poor economy influences teaching a lot, and information technology used in Mathematics teaching is an object which is worthy of studying.On the basis of previous study, the paper did a preliminary survey on the situation of high school Mathematics information technology carrying on in Xihaigu area. The methods used in this survey are questionnaire and interview.According to the statistics, main factors which influence high school Mathematics information technology using in Xihaigu area are slow pace of economic development, management of education and teaching, and informatizational teaching resource.In order to improve the teaching situation in Xihaigu area, and to improve the combination of information technology and Mathematics, to make Mathematics teaching in Xihaigu area come up with developed areas, to give some advice to Mathematics teachers in using information technology in Xihaigu area, some helpful suggestions are proposed in this paper.
