A Study On Management And Countermeasures Of Public Teaching Resources In Universities And Colleges

Public teaching resources in universities and colleges is a dispensable component in the system of talents cultivation. The construction and management of teaching resources is an important indicator of evaluating one's overall strength and school level. Partially it reflects the level of teaching, academic research, and management of that school thus it is regarded as a critical part in a school's construction.Along with the enhancement of China's comprehensive power, the construction of public teaching resources in universities and colleges has made great improvement under the combined efforts of the country and the region and plays a significant role on raising the quality of teaching and academic research. However, limited by the current condition and system, there are shortcomings in the existing management models and operating mechanism, which result in the increasing investment, higher administrative cost, redundant construction, low-effective operation of resources.As an important part in the innovation of scientific research and technology as well as in the talent cultivation, public teaching resources should keep pace with development of the country's science and technology and also the reform of educational system when the world's science and technology have making continuous improvement so as to provide effective support for the reform of teaching and innovation of the mode of talent cultivation in a school. Therefore, this thesis's significance lies in, through the research of management modes of public teaching resources in universities and colleges, finding out the shortcoming of existing modes, generating the factors and adopting the countermeasures.According to the practical needs and the writer's experience, this thesis analyzes the management models of public resources both home and abroad and gets some enlightenments. It probes into the current situation of the public teaching resources management, points out the problems and the underlying reasons, and provides constructive suggestions. This thesis is divided into five chapters. The first chapter points out the significance, background and research methods of this research. The second chapter provides the concepts and theories of public teaching resources management in universities and colleges. Chapter Three analyzes the current situation and problems of the existing public teaching sources management modes while in Chapter Four the underlying reasons are analyzed. In Chapter Five, countermeasures are provided.Today, the academia mainly focuses on the resource construction when making research on the public teaching resource in universities and colleges and lacks the study on the mechanism construction and modes of reform. This thesis aims to solve the problems of defective mechanism, ineffectiveness of huge investment of software, hardware and human resources. Based on theories and practice and with the means of information, this thesis tries to change the current public teaching resources mechanism, define the service scope, reform the management, and construct a new mode in which the service is out-sourcing, and focuses on the information integration thus provides reference for public teaching resources management for universities and colleges in the future.
