Research On The Teaching Reform Of Badminton Elective Course In Kunming

With the rapid development of economy, quality education and the promotion of the reform of universities, the university sports have been developed rapidly. Many universities have enriched sports facilities, improved sports contidionsand added new contents to meet the increasing needs of students from a leisure era background by excavatingall kinds of resources and opening up new projects. Manysports in fashion are now attracted to university studentsespecially whenvarious sports are offered as elective courses on the curricula. Badminton is one of the new sports and is attracting many university students since it's aeasy-to-learn and entertaining sports. More importantly, it conforms to the trend of educational reform and development. The Badminton are light in weight, therefore students are less likely to get injured during the game.Moreover, the speed of hitting and passing the balls is comparatively slow, and the rounds of passing the balls back and forth are much more than than those in a regular Badminton game. So there would be a lower requirement for physical quality, professional judgement and fault control of the participants. This thesis analysis the current situation of Badminton sports in four universities in the city of Kunming, and draws conclusions particularly in such aspects as the objectives, contents, implimentation and feedback of the cours as well as related factors that may impact on those aspects. And the general conclusions are as follows:(1) Kunming Colleges and Universities Badminton teachers from academic point of view, the overall structure of undergraduate education mainly low degree. From the structural point of view the age below 40 accounted for the vast majority of teachers are too young. From the point of view of professional skills, badminton professional teachers is relatively small, entry before starting to learn the majority of badminton, skill level is not satisfactory. From the point of view of scientific research ability, no one had the senate badminton course-related materials, scientific research level is not high.(2) Results of Kunming Colleges and Universities Badminton Elective summative assessment in favor, while ignoring the process of evaluation.Number of badminton venue(3) Kunming colleges and universities can not meet the teaching needs, but can be solved with the volleyball, basketball and other indoor hall Hall parkland.(4) At present, Kunming Colleges and Universities Badminton Elective Course hours are 1 semester, undergraduate colleges 32-36 hours. The teaching content and encompasses all of the basic techniques of badminton ,, impossible to make students master the basic techniques of badminton (backcourt lob, lob, smash, block pumping flat midfield, then kill, rub push net, hook, pick, put, footwork), you can not even grasp the lofty goals of this entry-level technology. Badminton Lesson what technology are taught, and students did not learn what technology is widespread.(5) students to participate in extracurricular Kunming colleges badminton situation is not optimistic. Female students to participate in sports and willingness frequency significantly lower than male students.
