Students' ability and character for the adaption to the lifelong and social development are their competence.How to implement the mathematics competence in classroom teaching is a valuble question to explore and research.In this paper,the connotation of the core concept of the mathematical competence forms our accurate understanding and positioning.Through the questionnaire survey,to understand the art students' mathematics competence level,some problems are found.According to the survey,with the mathematics competence as the basis,we designe a series of "seven stage" micro topic for the need of our art students,includiong: researching questions,grasping the special test conditions,clearifing objectives,outstanding ability,pre class warming-up,autonomous learning,classic cases of cooperation,inquiry,classroom feedback,practising,reviewing,reflection after class and summarising).The micro topics are formed to promote the "four bases and four abilities","mathematical abstract,imagination,logic,mathematical modeling" competence.Each special micro topic points to a clear basic knowledge,the focusing on a special mathematics basic skills or a basic method and a basic activity experience to promote mathematical abstraction,imagination,logic reasoning,data analysis,mathematical calculation and mathematical modeling for the purpose.“Micro method” and “Micro proposition” are also studied for emphasizing the wide and deep connection of contents and methods.Our micro topics not only pay attention to the improvement of students' mathematics learning ability,but also to the comprehensive performance of the mathematics competence level.Achievements in practice are obtained.
