As a society advances and develops, people experience increasing amounts of pressure.Teachers shoulder the responsibility of educating the next generation of the country and undoubtedly bear great pressure.Currently, the pressure on teachers has become a focus of attention in the educational field.Wenjiang District is a representative “second-circle city” of the capital city,Chengdu. It is quite close to Chengdu. The economy in Wenjiang has developed quickly and the people of Wenjiang have high expectations of the education provided in Wenjiang. In recent years, many young teachers have been recruited in Wenjiang and they account for a large proportion of the teacher population in Wenjiang. They are the major forces in implementing educational reform and play an important role in school education. However, due to inadequate experience, young teachers are not trusted by the community, the school, students and parents, and they bear a lot of pressure in their work.High occupational pressure is not conducive to their health, and also adversely affects the development of students and the teaching work of schools.Studies on the causes of teachers' occupational pressure and analyses of the corresponding solutions are of great significance. This study takes young teachers in secondary schools in the Wenjiang District in Chengdu as its research subject. The author has conducted a questionnaire and individual interviews to investigate the current situation of occupational pressure on the research subjects.Through statistical analysis of the results of the questionnaire and interviews, the author has summed up the overall characteristics of young teachers' occupational pressure in the Wenjiang District: in general, teachers feel a lot of pressure from work, but there are differences among different groups of teachers;student factors are the main source of pressure for young teachers;young teachers have an average level of pressure in their occupational development;the biggest differences between individuals exist in occupational development;personal and family factors are the least important factors in their pressure.Based on the specific situation of the Wenjiang District and the research results, this paper puts forward some suggestions on how to relieve the pressure on young teachers in secondary schools in Wenjiang: Schools should implement a people-oriented management philosophy, implement necessary teacher training and other benefits and establish a developmental and pluralistic mechanism to evaluate teachers' performance.Communities should have reasonable expectations on and demands of teachers, improve the economic benefits of teachers and improve the social status of teachers.Parents should communicate more frequently with teachers and they should mutually tolerate and understand each other.Teachers themselves should seek support systems, constantly improve their own teaching performance, conduct timely self-care and relaxation measures to reduce their own pressure. These measures not only provide the teachers with a correct understanding of and relief from pressure, but also give some reasonable suggestions to education administrators in the Wenjiang District for alleviating the occupational pressure on young teachers. They are of great practical value.
