Research purposes: tennis is an elegant, fashionable and attractive sport, impact on the world is widely, but also by college students respect and love, with the change of the idea of higher education, the teaching method reform, tennis special course as the education department a growing course, and other courses are also facing a adapt to the needs of the times of reform and innovation. Teaching method as a new teaching method is one of the feasible methods to improve the quality of teaching and the effect of teaching. According to the actual needs of the college tennis teaching, through the analysis of learning and guiding teaching method of basic theory, combined with tennis, with basic skills and comprehensive ability as the target, innovation and set up a set of conforms to the technical characteristics of tennis best learning and guiding teaching mode, through the analysis of experimental results, provide some teaching strategies for teaching staff, as well as to improve level of tennis teaching in Colleges and universities, to promote tennis training to provide a theoretical reference.Research methods: through the method of literature, teaching experiment, mathematical statistics, questionnaire survey, expert interviews and other research methods, with 40 students in Hubei Province Wuhan City Polytechnic Institute of physical education as the experimental objects were randomly divided into experimental group and control group, the experimental group adopted by learning and guiding teaching method, the control group used the traditional teaching method. Before and after the experiment on two groups of students physical fitness, tennis backhand and serve, technology and culture theory, learning and teaching effect evaluation carries on the contrast analysis, found the experimental class in addition to the physical quality of the test indicators were better than the control class, both of which are stored in significant differences.Research results:1. Running in the exhumation of the four physical quality "m" word, hand ball, impromptu ball and the ball clamping standing jump: the experimental group and the control group, the difference was not significant(P > 0.05);2. in tennis backhand basic technical stability and technical evaluation: after the experiment, the experimental group and the control group with significant difference(P < 0.05); in the tennis serve technology stability: after the experiment the experimental group and the control group no significant difference(P > 0.05); in the tennis serve technology evaluation: after the experimental group and control group, there was a significant difference(P < 0.01).3 in tennis theoretical results: after the experiment, the experimental group and the control group had significant difference(P<0.05).4. After the experiment, for students of questionnaire. Results showed that in the experimental group that teachers use the teaching methods in the percentage of students to stimulate learning motivation, use of learning methods, learning ability, allocation of study time and supervised learning process investigation is generally higher than the contrast group, the experimental group can be achieved better teaching recognition.Research conclusion:1 through experimental research, can be seen that the teaching method and the traditional teaching method in improving the physical fitness of students in the special physical quality of no significant difference.2 compared with the traditional teaching method, teaching method can improve the stability and the standardization of the basic technical skills of the students.3 learning guided teaching method can significantly improve students' tennis theoretical knowledge and rich tennis culture.4 the results of the questionnaire survey showed that students' satisfaction with the teaching method of learning and teaching method was higher. It is advantageous to stimulate students' learning motivation, flexible use of learning methods, cultivate comprehensive learning ability, reasonable allocation of study time and improve the learning efficiency.
