| Higher vocational colleges as the main part of the higher vocational education, responsible for training front-line positions in production, service and management skills-based and application-oriented talents. In order to train more talents with some professional knowledge and proficiency in the skills in line with the needs of modern society, we must have an excellent grasp of both professional the oretical knowledge and relevant experience teachers team. At present, China did not have such a faculty teacher resource to meet the vocational colleges urgent need. Therefore, teacher training has become necessary to promote the quality of higher vocational teachers. Xiamen City is no exception, there are 12 higher vocational institutions in Xiamen City,44787 school students in vocational colleges, but the number of full-time teachers in higher vocational colleges is only 2080, teacher-student ratio reached 21.53, which means the widespread shortage of vocational colleges teachers in Xiamen city. In thes ame time, there are 270 full-time teachers in Xiamen A Vocational College, with dual-qualified teacher is only 117, that is much lower than 70%, so the teachers training in vocational colleges is urgent in Xiamen City.In this paper, we take Xiamen vocational college teacher training for research, using literature data, quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis.We use the past 10 years statistical data to analyses teachers trainingpresent situation and do an objective evaluation on it. Stillwe will build the Xiamen A College teacher training system.The main contents include six aspects. The first chapter is an introduction. Study Background article, significance and literat ure review. The second chapter describes the article related to the definition of the concept and related theories. This part of teacher training by defining the relevant concepts and theories used in the description herein provide a strong theoretical basis for the thesis. The thirdch apter of the resources and manpower training situation vocational college teacher in Xiamen City for analysis. First, the status of teachers in higher vocational colleges Xiamen were analyzed by collecting data and inform ation, there are teachers in higher vocational colleges and academic titles, the age struct ure of teachers, student-teacher ratio and the proportion of dual-qualified teachers, then for vocational teacher train ing institutions to analyze the situation, including the importance of teacher training, training, funding, training mode and training effectivenes sevaluation. The fourth chapter is to discuss the teaching of higher vocational training institutions in Xiamen by the problems, mainly the concept behind the teacher training section flow channels, in-service training of the lack of effec tive evaluation. To solve these problem, we propose some strategies. The fifth chapter is take Xiamen A college as example, to argument the strategies we take for Xiam envocational college. The sixth chapter of this paper summarizes and points out the shortcom ings of this study and future research directions. |
