A Study On The Promotion Of Migrant Workers' Children's Self-efficacy For Using Method Of School Social Work

Since 1980 s,with the change of social system and experience social transition, migrant workers emerge out to be regarded as a special community,it's hard to take root in cities, one of their first imperative is to resolve education of their children. It trends to have the inferiority for the migrant workers' children on account of host and guest factors, the reduction of self-efficacy goes against the maturation of migrant workers' children.The study is based on the social practices in X elementary school of Wuhan, the author chose all students of Class One Grade Five in X elementary school to be service objects and adopted self-efficacy scale to measure their self-efficacy. Under the guidance of the Social learning theory and Advantage theory perspective, in order to measure whether the self-efficacy can be enhanced or not,social workers launched actives by the practice means of case counseling, social community outreach and survey the result.The result evaluation showed that it's feasible to enhance the self-efficacy by social work, the author also recorded the whole procedure and summarize it in order to supply some useful suggestion in social work practices.
