According to his study of ancient moral system, there are three types of moral behavior method:accumulative method, method of “holding the fundamentals”and reflective method.Thus, there are three corresponding stages to cultivate moral behavior. The first stage is the formation of Wang Mingyang’s reflective method, the second stage is the formation of Lu Xiangshan’s method of “holding the fundamentals” and the third stage is the formation of Zhu Zi’s accumulative method. In addition, his study indicates that the reestablishment of moral ideal is not only built on human rational force, but also builton social condition of human life. His research results reveal at that time in China, since life condition has been changed, the reestablished moral system must be adapted to the change. In order to meet the requirement of modern individualism, industrialism and nationalism, every person must be cultivated as a citizen, who could initiative think and behave and have the consciousness to cooperate and collaborate with each other.Just because of above moral education thought, Chiang Monlin could take action on his reformation and practice in Peking University.
