With rapid social development nowadays, people's living level has been improving, giving higher and higher level of requirement of quality of life. Given that death is an inevitable part of life, "palliative care" has been drawing more and more attention. Cancer, today as an incurable disease, serious threatens the health of people,brings fear to people. How to eliminate the anxiety and fear of cancer deaths for people and how to improve the life quality of cancer patients in the end of their life in order to let them spend the rest of their life with dignity are important issues of human well-being.During the graduate study, the author participated in the nursing project of Guizhou province. On the basis of professional practice and with reference to domestic and foreign related theory and current situation of hospice care, this article has done involved work to problems during the nursing of a cancer patient in order to help patients relieve physical pain, alleviate the negative emotions and conduct psychological counseling to alleviate psychological pressure for families of patients.For cancer patients and their families, the author has done group work intervention and organized group activities in order to form a support group. In application of practice process of hospice care involved by cases, the socialworker first established mutual trust relationship with the target personnel, on the basis of which the in-depth interviews of egotism have been conducted. Finally, the socialworker used the professional social work theory and skill to carry out case work intervention,then,they have evaluated the effect of hospice care involved by case work, and the target personnel has basically reached the scheduled goal of the early stage. Through the application of group work practice process, the author described the process of group activities every time in detail, and assessed the effect of groupintervention. Finally, the author has done summary and reflection on intervention of social work of hospice care of cancer patients, and put forward the advantages and disadvantages of hospice care intervention of the social workers as well as some problems to be solved.
