Application Of The Internet Carrier In Ideological And Political Education In Colleges And Universities

Since the advent of the Internet era, network technology has already been applied into every aspect of people's daily life and computer technology has already become an integral part of every social fields. With its technological strengths of fast transmission and wide coverage of regions, we gradually tend to entering into the world of Internet instead of the other kinds of medium as an important means to transmit information. As a social group with rich innovative spirit, college students always strive to be the vanguard of the times. With the maturing of the network technology, an increasing number of college students enter into network world and become netizens who acquire and transmit information by the medium of the Internet. In recent years, with the increasing influence of the Internet on campus life, college students are deeply influenced by the Internet in their life habits, learning modes and thinking circuits. Faced with such changes, ideological and political educators in colleges should change their thinking modes, update their opinions on the Internet and fundamentally realize the true significance of the Internet as the carrier of ideological and political education in colleges and universities. Based on existing research results, in view of major current problems existing in the application of the Internet carrier in the ideological and political education in colleges, the paper delved into actual situations, adhering to the thinking mode of advancing with the times and blazing new trails in a pioneering spirit and proposed some targeted, feasible and long-term polices, based on the theories of ideological and political education.
