The teacher-student relationship is the main interpersonal relationship in school,according to the education practice in primary and secondary schools,the teaching and students are special at the stage of junior middle school,therefore the conflicts are more likely to occur.The class space is the prime carrier where teaching and communications happen,meanwhile,it is an unit of material,spiritual and social,which provides a new perspective to dispel the teacher-student conflicts.Considering the conflict is a long-standing problem in actual teaching and shows some new features under new conditions,especially there is still creation room for strategies,therefore,the author intend to take an investigation for teacher-student conflicts in the perspective of class space and provide reasonable suggestions for front-line teachers to dispel the conflicts.The class space is a place where aimed for education activities,reflecting the social identities and relationship in the communications between teachers and students and possesses humanistic spirit to some extent,including material space,spiritual space and social space,having the features of real and virtual,steady and generative,layering and integrated.The teacher-student conflict is a summation of contradiction that caused by both sides who can not realize the purpose in the relationship,which happens in material space,spiritual space and social space.The conflicts possess the features of universal,complicated and hidden,its process includes potential opposition,intervened cognition,conflicting behaviors and producing results.Teachers and students are both main parts in the class space,the conflicts have two-side influences: on one hand,it is beneficial to enhance the mutual trust for the main parts,help teachers to be a class-space researcher and improve the class space environment;on the other hand,it is bad to build high-level spiritual space,damage the health of both parts,hamper the management of schoolspace.By having a class observation in grand eight,class one of X middle school in W city,we can get some conclusions:The teacher-student conflicts are universal and most of them are low-intensity.The explicit conflicts are caused by improper words and acts of both sides and student is the main reason.Teachers reflect in disrespecting students and the class problem behaviors can be the reason for students.The implicit conflicts are mainly showed as language-space colonization,body-space colonization and entertainment-space colonization of students.By taking some interview with the representatives of both sides,we can summarize that big class size,focusing in scores,teachers-student improper words and acts,bad communications,placing higher expectation mutually and rejecting the culture of students are superficial reasons for conflicts.The deep attributions of teacher-student conflicts are mainly carried out from three aspects: from the material space point of view,the limitation of teaching facilities,class size and physical environment explain the reason;from the spiritual space point of view,the conflicts come out from the wrong value-oriented education,the low qualities of teachers,the bad emotional communications between teachers and students;from the social space point of view,the role conflict is the result of role deviation and the improper expectations of both sides,the power conflict derives from the power abuse of teaches,the culture conflict is a consequence of space cultural difference of both sides.In order to dispel teacher-student conflicts,we should take some measures from three aspects: firstly,by reducing the class size and optimizing the class environment and organizing the personal space of students to rebuild the material space;by reforming education system,improving the qualities of teachers,working closely between school and teachers to rebuild the spiritual space;by clearing role and having reasonable expectation mutually,returning the space power of students,making space culture dialogue with students to rebuild the social space.
