The fifth information technology revolution in last century has had a significant impact in the field of education.E-learning becomes the biggest impact which creates a new way in education.For more than ten years,E-learning has developed gradually and becomes more and more important in the field of education.With the use of internet,learning become more autonomous,more personalized,at the same time,it also has a lower threshold in learning,and enriches the learning resources.E-learning now is using popularly in higher education,business training,and informal learning or even to be a good application to help traditional learning.E-learning has brought about changes in teaching and learning mode,on the one hand it is an advantage,but on the other hand also caused some defects.The focus on E-learning gradually transfers from the learning strategy,learning mode to learning behavior.Starting from the analysis of learning behavior of E-learning sums up the rules of learning,and these learning rules is applied to teaching.This is also the most effective methods to improve the shortcomings of E-learning.In E-learning behavior researches so far there are two main problems: one is in the analysis of E-learning behavior always use questionnaire to collect behaviors,or simply use the visiting times instead,these ways of collecting E-learning behaviors are not scientific and rigorous,and from these ways,the researches will have blind spots which will make the scope of the study not comprehensive enough.The other one is the process of E-learning behavior analysis is incomplete and needs an E-learning behavior analysis model.This study starts from the behavior science theory,analyzes the concept of behavior science,behavior model of behavior science,the use of behavior science in the field of E-learning,and summarizes the similar concepts of learning behavior and behavior analysis.Based on these theory researches,this study summarizes the concept of E-learning behavior,and the general process of analyzing behaviors of E-learning.At the same time to solve the two problems above,this study puts forward using xAPI format specification to collect data of the E-learning behaviors,and to establish a model to analyze these data.The model contains seven parts: analyzing operation behaviors,setting up an E-learning environment to record behaviors,recording behavioral data,stratifying the records of E-learning behaviors,counting learning behaviors,examining the correlation between learning behaviors and the effects of learning,and feeding back the result to improve the teaching strategies.After feeding back teaching strategies,then it repeats start to record the data of behaviors,so as to form a good cycle.Then the author sets up an E-learning course called “learning 2048”,and develops the related curriculum resources.Then strictly according to the model to analyze operation behaviors and set up an E-learning environment to record behaviors,deploys the E-learning course to a rented Ali cloud server to put into use and record behavioral data.After the data were obtained,begins to stratify the records of E-learning behaviors,count learning behaviors,and examine the correlation between learning behaviors and the effects of learning,selects one of the most relevant behaviors from each layer and transfers them to the feedbacks of teaching strategies.Finally,the validity of the whole model is tested through experiments.The whole model was verified that the E-learning behavior analysis model based on the xAPI can effectively analyze the behaviors of E-learning,and make positive to E-learning to improve the teaching effect.
